*The play did very well, Stebo*

March 13, 2002 ~ 9:34 p.m.

I have had a few people comment on the play. A few gay remarks and a bunch of 'good jobs.'

Yet one will always stand in my mind forever. I don't know her name, grade, or her persona, but I will always remember her face and the look in her eyes whenever she talked to me.

"Thank you so much for doing that play. I relate so well to your girlfriend on stage. Thank you."

I said "Thank you," and bought my Coke and walked off.

Most of my replies were just a simple "Thank you," nothing more. I did not wish to brag or boast about my performance, because in fact, it was nothing really to boast about.

We all did well. Caleb stuttered a little but he did a very good job of bouncing back and making the line work out. Other than that, we all did extremely well.

It worked. We affected one person. We sent at least one chill down someone's spine. We made at least one person think.

We did make a lot of people laugh, though.

People are stupid. Asking stupid questions to Amanda and Rita like "How does it feel to be raped?" and "Are you pregnant?"

Like they really got raped and pregnant.

I know the play worked. I am very glad it did.

I decided to write this entry a day late because I didn't want the excitement of the play to affect my writing. I let the play set in for a day and found out my perspective on it. I'm glad I did.

People are critiquing us with stupid things, like "Have more than just 2 six-packs" and "You're too over dramatic."

-"Leave the sheet next time."

People also said "They cast Steven Sarver as the most drunk dude in the play?" I'm one who would start a SADD chapter here in Durant. I hate drinking. Oh well.

I apparently don't care.

I can't wait until next year. We're going to "elect" a new Drama Club President next year and I'm pretty psyched. I'm going to run.

We'll elect next meeting. :)

I have 2 tests, a quiz, and a presentation to do tomorrow. All in a row.

I oughta get some sleep. I won't, however. I'll be up for a little while.

As long as I'm up, I may as well talk about my Prom plans, since I am the only one without debate.

I meant to ask a girl to Prom by Saturday. It gives the girl at least 30 days to prepare and be ready. I don't mean money wise, I mean finding a dress and being able to go. That's plenty of time, right?

However, all of my choices for dates won't fall through. Two have been taken and one I have completely dropped because she rejected another guy for almost no reason whatsoever.

There is a girl who I am interested in. She is new and unheard of. She's beautiful, funny and intelligent but out of my reach. I'll keep shooting and trying but I don't think I'll pull it off. Ho well.

I could just go stag. That would suck ass, though.

Oh well.

Writing for a bunch is enough. I'm out because my mommy loves me and she brought me some snacks.
